We’re super proud to announce that our very own Sarah Lee, co-founder and Chief Customer Officer at Stravito, was named as one of the winners in the Inspiring Fifty Nordics 2019initiative. 50 winners were selected from over 200 nominations by a panel of industry-leading judges for their innovative, trailblazing work in the booming Nordic tech industry. In great company, Sarah Lee was selected for her impressive achievements throughout her career, including (but not limited to) several senior management roles at Swedish fintech success iZettle (since acquired by Paypal for $2.1B) and her role in co-founding Stravito and leading all our client-facing operations globally since 2017.
The Inspiring Fifty started in the Netherlands a few years ago as a mission to showcase incredible women excelling in tech careers, and the initiative has spread and grown increasingly around the world since then. In their own words, the non-profit organization explains the importance of recognizing female leaders in the technology industry:
These trailblazers, innovators and boss women play a major role in challenging the industry’s norms of what makes a leader. The InspiringFifty are important role models for encouraging more girls and women in technology, as well as inspiring future leaders and entrepreneurs to follow in their footsteps. Role models must be seen to be truly effective… because seeing is believing. You can’t be what you can’t see.
We couldn't agree more. Sarah Lee really is a true role model; her sharp wits, go-getter spirit, and unmatched level of energy is a constant inspiration to us all in the Stravito organization.
This win is beyond well-deserved, and the entire Stravito team is very honoured to work with you. Congratulations on this great win, Sarah!
