Stravito named as one of the top AI startups in Europe

Sarah Wiggins November 20, 2020

Today we’re very excited to share that Stravito has been chosen as one of the top AI startups in Europe in the first ever European AI Startup Landscape.

What is the European AI Startup Landscape?

The 2020 European AI Startup Landscape is a joint initiative led by AI Sweden, appliedAI Initiative - UnternehmerTUM (Germany), Hub France IA, Ignite Sweden, and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden with the objective to foster and accelerate AI in Europe.

In their motivation statement, they further explain:

"It is essential to shine a light on the top AI startups in Europe in order to drive AI adoption and create more partnership opportunities between startups and corporations. By creating a centralized database of quality AI startups, corporations and SMEs will have easier access to AI partners they can trust."

The initiative explains that collaborations between AI startups and corporations are beneficial for both parties and the economy as a whole. This is because startups can offer advanced niche solutions, while also reducing the challenges that companies face when attempting to develop their own AI solutions.

Looking towards the future

The current European AI Startup landscape includes German, Swedish, and French startups, but the goal is to continue adding startups from more countries over the years to come.

Stravito's Co-Founder & CEO Thor Olof Philogène comments: "We're very honored to see Stravito featured on the top European AI startups list and in such great company too. AI and machine learning are crucial components of the Stravito platform, enabling us to provide an ever smarter, ever more sophisticated and more user-friendly service to our clients and users around the world."

We look forward to following the development of the Landscape over the coming years, and to see how these newly formed partnerships will help propel the use of AI in Europe-founded companies forward.
